The bata de cola is fully tailor made in Andalusia by master Pepe using high quality poplin fabric for the outside and "can can de Flamenca" for the inside of the skirt to ensure the ideal balance between weight and body.  Its incredible design makes the bata de cola suitable for both practice sessions and performances and allows you to manage it the way you want. Its length is approximately 195 cm from waist to tail/train (the end of the "cola") but it also can be customized on the dancer's height.

The Flamencista bata de cola is fully lined in order to achieve the necessary stiffness but it also carries out a soft rope boning all around the bottom as a "shape frame" to keep always the bata spread and easier to maneuver. It is also elegantly pleated all the way around the bottom to allow moving the skirt easily, gracefully, effortless and using visual effects to stand out from the crowd.
